Dorothy
Kozlowski received her undergraduate degree at Rutgers College of Nursing
and her master's Degree as an Adult/Family nurse practitioner at Seton Hall
University. Her background includes critical care, intensive care,
emergency care and teaching both undergraduate and graduate nursing
students. She has been the Director of Willets Health Center since 1986.
Dorothy's career here at Rutgers has been as a board certified Nurse
Practitioner, an administrator, a public health advocate and a resource for
students, faculty and staff. Professionally, she was elected as a Fellow in
the American College Health Association, where she served as Regional
President and a member of the Board of Directors. Among her many honors,
includes a twice-received certificate of Excellence in Nursing from the
Department of Health and several awards from ACHA (American College Health
Association ) for valuable service and leadership. In 2002, Dorothy was
appointed Chair of the Rutgers University Blood Drive Committee, a
partnership with Rutgers University, Johnson & Johnson and NJ Blood
Drive Services. In April of last year, she received an award from NJ Blood
Services on behalf of the committee for the community service. She enjoys
working with college students as a leader, teacher and primary care
resource for the past 18 years.

Janet
Byrne, M.D.

Dr.
Byrne is a graduate of Rutgers College where she was a Henry Rutgers
Scholar, Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with highest distinction in her
major. She received her M.D. from UMDNJ- New Jersey Medical School. Dr.
Byrne is board certified in internal Medicine and completed her residency
at Hackensack Medical Center and St. Peters Medical Center. Prior to coming
to Rutgers Health Services, she was in private practice in Freehold and
Morganville NJ and an attending physician at Centrastate Medical Center,
Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and St. Peters Medical Center. She
is a clinical instructor in the Department of Medicine at the UMDNJ- RWJ
Medical School. Besides working at Rutgers, Dr. Byrne is a physician
consultant for Merrill Lynch Inc., where she has been on staff since 1991.
On a personal note, she is married and has an eleven years old son. She is
active in her church and is co-director of their youth group.

Raj
Malkani, M.D.
Staff Physician

Dr. Malkani received
her M.D. degree from Grant
Medical College
in India. After being trained in pediatrics and
adolescent medicine, she completed her
residency in Pediatrics at New
York University
and Saint
Peter's Medical Center,
rising to chief resident. She is
Board Certified in Pediatrics, specializing in
Adolescent Medicine, and has been with Rutgers
since 1981. Dr. Malkani
is an Elected Fellow of the American
Academy of Pediatrics
(FAAP) and has been a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics of UMDNJ
& Robert Wood Johnson Hospital since 2004.
Highly qualified to provide students with
outstanding medical care, Dr. Malkani is an
international public health advocate, volunteering her services to rural
communities in India and the
United States. She
is passionate about
teaching residents, medical and pharmacology students about
medicine.
She enjoys working with the diverse and
vibrant Rutgers student body, and the analytical
and surgical aspects of College Medicine,
Hematology, and
Women's Health.

Diane
Heimlich, MSN, RNC
Staff Nurse Practitioner

Diane
Heimlich began her nursing career after completing a Bachelor of Arts
Degree in American Studies from the University of Michigan (Residential
College). She received her undergraduate nursing degree from Columbia
University, where she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society
of Nursing. Her Masters of Nursing Degree, with a specialty in adult primary
care, was awarded from the University of Pennsylvania. She is nationally
certified as an adult nurse practitioner through the American Nurses
Credentialling Center and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse
Practitioners. Diane has been a nurse practitioner since 1984, expanding
upon her career as a registered nurse. Her early experiences involved
caring for an indigent adult population in the Bronx and in St. Louis, MO.
She has worked for the Rutgers University Health Service since 1989.

Lynn
has been employed at RUHS for 12 years. Prior to coming to Rutgers, she
worked in Women's Health Care. She is board certified as a College Health
Nurse since 1992.
Dee has been employed at RUHS since September, 2002. Previous experience
includes community health and emergency room nursing. She is now board
eligible and will take College Heath Nurse exam this year.
