Bio: Diane Heimlich received her undergraduate nursing degree from Columbia University. Her Masters of Science in Nursing Degree, with a specialty in adult primary care, was awarded from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, she majored in American Studies at the University of Michigan. She is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. Diane has been working as a nurse practitioner since 1984. Her early experiences involved caring for indigent adult populations in the Bronx and in St. Louis, MO. She has worked for Rutgers Student Health since 1989. In addition to enjoying her general practice, she has a special interest in working with students with eating issues. She is also chairperson of her local Board of Health.
