Senior Program Coordinator/Case Management for CAPS Next Step Program

Bio: Linda received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kean University and has since held multiple clinical case management positions including: Clinical Counselor for the Mental Health Clinic of Passaic’s child adolescent partial hospital program, Case Manager for DRENK’s Behavioral Health Care therapeutic foster care program, Habilitation Counselor for UMDNJ Youth Case Management program. Prior to joining CAPS, she worked in Rutgers UBHC acute partial hospitalization program where she provided psychoeducation, individual, group, and family counseling, clinical case management, life skill development, coordination of care with medical and community providers, and crisis intervention for individuals who suffer with mental illness. This position included working with individuals with substance abuse to assist them to reintegrate into the community and achieve valued life goals. She also participated in a leadership group for motivational interviewing at UBHC.
