Bio: Dr. Malkani received her MD from Grant Medical College in India. After being trained in pediatrics and adolescent medicine, she completed her residency in Pediatrics at New York University and Saint Peter’s Medical Center, rising to chief resident. She is board-certified in Pediatrics, specializing in Adolescent Medicine, and has been with Rutgers since 1981. Dr. Malkani is an Elected Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and has been a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics of University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) & Robert Wood Johnson Hospital since 2004.

Highly qualified to provide students with outstanding medical care, Dr. Malkani is an international public health advocate, volunteering her services to rural communities in India and the United States. She is passionate about teaching residents, medical and pharmacology students about medicine. She enjoys working with the diverse and vibrant Rutgers student body, and the analytical and surgical aspects of College Medicine, Hematology, and Women’s Health.
