When using spermicidical lubricants during sex, can you use more than one? I was wondering if using inserts (Ensure) that dissolve in combination with vaginal contraceptive films that also dissolve will be more effective. Will mixing the two cancel each other out? I want the greatest amount of protection possible without using a female or male condom.

I am considering having sex with my boyfriend of two years. We are both virgins and there is no threat of STIs. Since both my parents are extremely conservative, I dont think that any form of prescription birth control will be an option. I think having sex with a condom and spermicide would be my best option. I'd like to use a type of spermicide that I put on my boyfriend's penis rather than inside of me. Are there any brands that you know of that Hurtado may carry? How much would they cost? Is this a reliable form of birth control? I don't want to take any chances, so if it's not reliable, I will wait.

Is there a lubricant out there that is also a spermicide? I have found many that include spermicides but have warning labels stating they are not spermicides.
