Plan B OTC Status
Plan B is now available over the counter (OTC) for all men/women who are 18 or over. If you are under 18, it will be available by prescription only.
It is stocked at all RUHS pharmacies, and most major pharmacy chains (if going to an outside pharmacy, it is advisable to call ahead to make sure it is in stock).
To get Plan B without a prescription you will have to:
· ask the pharmacist for Plan B – it will not be on the shelves, but will be kept behind the pharmacy counter.
· show proof that you are 18 or over. The pharmacist will not keep any record of your name, and the process is confidential.
