This student will work with the Coordinator of Health Promotion as well as other
coordinators to obtain evaluations from programs and activities across all
advocacies, extrapolate data from these evaluations, and compile reports from
tis data as well as other sources. Consistent with the department vision of
student empowerment, this student will be considered a student staff member of
the Department of Health Education, and thus afforded the rights,
responsibilities, and privileges which accompany such a title.
As the Department of Health Education Evaluation Coordinator, this student
may:
- Design or adapt a protocol for the evaluation of programs;
- Communicate with all schedulers to facilitate the evaluation process;
- Retrieve evaluations from all programs conducted each semester;
- Analyze feedback from all programs;
- Identify other strategies to solicit data about student needs and
satisfaction;
- Interpret data to determine significance;
- Assemble data into a preliminary report at the end of each semester;
- Assemble data into a final report at the end of each year.
All applicants must be Rutgers University students available to work 5 to 10
hours per week. Applicants should possess the ability to work independently and
must be able to express themselves in a clear and concise manner. Experience
with e-mail and word processing and a basic knowledge of statistics is
encouraged but not required.
