Bio: Jennifer Wiseman has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 1993, with a Master of Science in Immunology from Ohio University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Yale University. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Jen spent the first 23 years of her career working in community health and in family practice, before coming to Rutgers in 2016.  Health education and a holistic approach are central to her practice philosophy, and she is particularly interested in the mind-body connection.  Women’s healthcare and the management of chronic health conditions are also areas she enjoys.  Jennifer serves as a Liaison for the Center for Social Justice and LGBTQA community, and is also active in Health and Wellness Initiatives.  Outside of work, Jennifer is a musician—she plays the piano, bassoon, and tenor saxophone, and currently sings in a barbershop quartet and an a-cappella show chorus.  She also enjoys traveling with her husband.
