What To Do If You Or A Roommate Has Symptoms

Call Rutgers Student Health (848-932-7402) or your local healthcare facility to determine if testing is needed.

  • If testing IS needed, it should be done right away. If you call Student Health (848-932-7402) they will and give you a test that day (during business hours).
  • Self-isolate until the results of the test are received. If possible, it is best to confine yourself to a bedroom not shared by anyone else.
  • Wear a mask.
  • Wash your hands often.
  • If you do need to be around people, watch your distance, remaining at least 6 feet apart at all times.
