Kimberly (Kim) Nelson joins the Rutgers CAPS team as a Senior Program Coordinator, bringing over two decades of experience in operational management, high-level executive support, and project management. Throughout her diverse career supporting Human Resources, IT, Finance and Security organizations at companies such as Verizon and Johnson & Johnson, Kim’s has focused on streamlining complex workflows, managing departmental budgets, and ensuring strict compliance with sensitive data and confidentiality protocols. A graduate of Kean University with a BA in Communications, she is a natural problem-solver who recently transitioned from the corporate world to higher education.
