Leslie Sanders, MD

Education: MD, Albert Einstein College of Medicine

Dr. Sanders received a BA in Natural Science from Johns Hopkins University and her MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Prior to joining Rutgers Student Health, she worked at Mount Sinai Hospital and Atlantic Health System’s Morristown and Overlook Medical Centers. During her 30-year career Dr. Sanders has provided medical care for adolescents and young adults in a variety of settings including traditional inpatient and outpatient hospital based practices, a juvenile detention center, a residential substance abuse treatment center, and in a school-based health center in a public high school in NYC.  The care she has provided included routine and preventive care, gynecologic and sexual health care, and medical management of eating disorders.
