Shayne Judge, MPH, CHES (she/her) is a passionate public health professional dedicated to destigmatizing and transforming comprehensive and inclusive sex education. A proud Rutgers alum and former HOPE peer educator, she is thrilled to return to her roots at Rutgers to support and empower students in their sexual and reproductive health education.
Shayne began her career as a sex educator intern with the Masakhane Center in Newark before transitioning to clinical work as a PrEP counselor at The Babs Siperstein Proud Center, where she provided HIV prevention education and patient support. She later joined Planned Parenthood, where she created and led the "Spill The T.E.A!" peer education program, engaging Trenton teens in sex education and advocacy work. She also co-chaired their award-winning Teen Conference and is an active member of the planning team for the National Sex Ed Conference.
Shayne is fiercely committed to youth leadership and empowerment through sex ed. Her values of community, collaboration, education, and autonomy are central to her impact. Her work is guided by the disability justice principle: “Nothing about them, without them.”
