Jiaqi Li

Title: Doctoral Psychology Intern

Jiaqi Li is a doctoral intern at CAPS. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from The Ohio State University and her M.S.W. from Columbia University. She is currently completing her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University. Jiaqi has clinical experience across a range of settings, including inpatient, community mental health, and university counseling centers. She is passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals, international students, and second-generation immigrants. Jiaqi is primarily trained in a psychodynamic approach and integrates cognitive behavioral (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) techniques into her work. Her therapeutic style is collaborative, warm, and grounded in curiosity. Jiaqi deeply values the therapeutic relationship and believes that a strong, authentic connection is foundational to meaningful and effective therapy.
