Priya is a social work intern here at CAPS. She is a second-year social work student, and she is pursuing her MSW at Rutgers University. She is also working towards obtaining a certificate in Interpersonal Violence and Trauma. Priya has experience working in an in-patient psychiatric hospital, as well as an outpatient setting for individuals who have experienced issues pertaining to mental health because of 9/11. Priya’s special interests include depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, relationship concerns, and working with the South Asian population. Priya provides compassionate and empathetic care to all individuals that she works with.
