Betty received her BS in Nursing from Rutgers College of Nursing. She started her career at NYU Medical Center in the transplant/post-operative unit. Her passion for travel has brought her to take on assignments as a travel nurse in many cities across the US. She has been a nurse in ICU, obstetrics/gynecology, and other specialties prior to coming to Rutgers. She has certification in phlebotomy, IV Therapy, HIV counseling, and basic life support. She has been a member of Rutgers Student Health since 2009
