Joyce is licensed as a professional counselor. She specializes in providing trauma-informed care to young adults. She is certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), TF-CBT (trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy) and TPYG (trauma processing yoga groups). She believes in providing clinical services that are affirming and empowering to all individuals. As a therapist, she provides a non-judgmental relationship for people to explore how struggles can help them to rebuild and reshape their lives in ways they want and deserve. Before getting her master’s degree in clinical-counseling psychology, Joyce was a high school history teacher for six years in New Jersey.
