Nikita Cuvilje is a certified Mental Health First Aider, ACE- Behavior Change Specialist, and HIV test counselor. Her focus is on wellness initiatives, utilizing a peer-to-peer model to promote skill building practices, and increase awareness of the impact of mental health on academic success. Nikita also oversees the Campus Connect Suicide Prevention Gatekeepers Training, an experiential-based training, designed to enhance participant’s knowledge, awareness, and skills concerning college student suicide. Prior to joining HOPE, Nikita worked at the Tyler Clementi Center and the LGBTQ and Diversity Resource Center at Rutgers University- Newark
