Dr. Mayer is a New Jersey licensed psychologist who has worked at CAPS since 2013. He has experience providing individual and group therapy to people with diverse identities and clinical concerns. He takes pride in forming positive relationships and tailoring his approach to meet the unique needs of the students with whom he works. Dr. Mayer oversees CAPS training programs and has passion for helping to support the growth of therapists in training.

Clinical Interests: Dr. Mayer takes pride in working with students from all walks of life and varied clinical concerns. He has experience in working with issues regarding mood, depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, relationships, families of origin, grief and loss, developmental transitions, stress management, head injuries, memory and other cognitive concerns, and living with chronic and/or serious health conditions.
